For over 14 years, Plastprofiil has specialized in composite materials and vacuum forming in Estonia. Every Nordic Wellness Craft hot tub starts here — product design, CNC-milled molds, fiberglass lamination, and acrylic vacuum forming, all in-house. We also build and repair molds for other manufacturers on request: a real, if occasional, capability we use both for our own product development and for outside custom-OEM work. If you’re a modular home builder, an outdoor sauna manufacturer, or want to launch your own private-label spa line, custom-mold OEM starts at a minimum order of just 1 unit — you cover the tooling cost, or we can structure a different arrangement for larger programmes.

Our industrial capabilities

Manufacturing hot tubs at this level of finish requires precision, weather resistance, and durability. Here’s how we combine our factory’s capabilities:

• Mold making (CNC milling) – Everything starts with a mold. We use our in-house 4-axis CNC machine to mill precise new tub molds according to the client’s design and specifications — a new mold typically takes about 2 weeks to build. If you want to launch a completely new shape (e.g., with an ergonomic lounge seat), we build that model from scratch.
• Fiberglass lamination – Glass fiber and resin are laid up by hand directly on the mold and cured in place — an independent, standalone construction method, durable and repairable, that we use both in our own product line and for OEM orders.
• Acrylic vacuum forming – Our vacuum forming equipment handles parts up to 2200 × 2400 mm; the acrylic surface is then reinforced on the back with glass fiber — for a durable, structurally sound result.
